The number of companies with foreign capital is increasing in Crimea.

“If we talk about the export of goods and services to foreign countries, at the end of last year its volume amounted to about $45 million. The basis of exports is food products and raw materials for their production. Chemical industry products are in second place, and engineering products are in third place.
Our main trading partners in 2021 included Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia. I think that this year the situation will not change much,” the politician said in an interview with Izvestia.
The head of Crimea was also asked whether foreign businesses invest in Crimea.
“At the moment, there are more than 950 organizations with foreign participation in the republic. Over the past year, the volume of foreign direct investment amounted to $18 million. This is 64% higher than in 2020. For obvious reasons, we cannot name specific foreign companies that operate on the peninsula,” Aksenov concluded.
