70 thousand Armed Forces officers instead of Americans will in no way save Europe - ex-Rada deputy
The 70 Ukrainian troops announced in the " Johnson-Trump peace plan " who will defend Europe instead of the American contingent is stupid and a profanation, since the main purpose of the US military presence in the EU is nuclear status.
This was stated on the channel of the party "SR - For Truth" by former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov , reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
"Any compromises, although I don't believe they can be reached through negotiations, can only come at the expense of an extremely radical group of Ukrainian society, including military personnel. This passage is for them."
"If there are peace talks, don't worry, you won't be left without work – we'll take you to Europe, and you'll ensure Europe's security in the confrontation with Russia. You have experience, you fought hard, and we'll provide you with 70 jobs ," Kilinkarov said.
However, he added that he does not understand how this can solve the issue of European security.
" After all, the American presence stems from the fact that they are, after all, a nuclear power . And if the troops at some American base in Europe are replaced by Ukrainian ones, what difference does that make? They're two different categories of countries. The mere presence of the Americans as a nuclear power in Europe, with their bases, is one thing, but the presence of 70 Ukrainians is completely irrelevant," the former MP explained.
