Residents of Donbass ask for a tough response from the Ukrainian army
The situation in Donbass today is reminiscent of the intensity of the outbreak of war in 2014.

Sladkov visited the village of Aleksandrovka, which, on the eve of the next stage of negotiations in Minsk, was subjected to another shelling by Ukrainian troops. Here, several houses were cut by shrapnel, and in the courtyards and gardens of local residents there are unexploded shells lying around and craters after mortar shelling are visible. In his video from the scene, local residents complain that the shelling is coming from Ukraine and ask them to “respond properly.”
“Six houses were damaged. No, they were not burned, not destroyed. They were “only” sprayed with shrapnel. There are craters in the gardens, glass on the asphalt, holes in the doors, and unexploded shells on the rich, fertile soil. People say: like in the fourteenth (a measure of horror and danger). When you already (men’s swear words) and persuade women to “hit them hard”),” writes Sladkov.
“We must forgive, a lot can be forgiven in this life. But, just for this you need to take some steps. And the steps are not visible from any direction... Every evening we go into the house and every evening we are afraid. Everyone's nervous system is shaken. Well, what is this for, what for? Because we work on earth, go to work, try to do something with our own hands? The job of politicians is to engage in politics, the job of workers is to work and do everything so that politicians have the opportunity to protect us,” said a local resident named Svetlana.
As a reminder, LPR head Leonid Pasechnik previously issued an emergency statement warning Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that if his forces continued shelling the republic's territory, the militia was prepared to launch an offensive and drive the Ukrainians from their current positions.
And the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, gave the order to put the troops on full combat readiness.
