Zhirinovsky was going to Minsk to hug and kiss Belarusians
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposes to hold a “parade of friendship and love with the participation of 100 thousand Russian patriots” on the central streets of Minsk.
He wrote about this on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We will arrive by train early in the morning, hold a chic festival of Russian-Belarusian friendship, have lunch with potato pancakes and take the evening train home to Moscow. Then in Belarus they will understand that we are not going to send in any troops, we are not going to capture anyone,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
Previously, Zhrinovsky made contradictory statements on the situation in Belarus. He either supported the protests or argued with TV presenter Alexei Naryshkin over a case of beer that by the New Year this country would become part of Russia.
