Soon, many deputies of the Servant of the People party will “throw away” the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and sell themselves to oligarchs competing for influence.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the InterVizor YouTube channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The fact that some groups of deputies in the Servant of the People can work for the oligarchs is a natural process. I think the political leadership of the party is well aware of this risk. Bogdan has already said that approximately 20% may commit treason.
As a means of treatment, it is debatable how effective it will be and how civilized it will look, but perhaps a certain imperative mandate will be applied.
There are a lot of people who were taken from the street. Yes, people without any successes and achievements, without a name, but so that there is no trail of connections and agreements. And here is the risk. Yes, when messengers from the owners of Ukrainian politics come to these guys and open a bag containing 250-300 thousand bucks one-time and plus 5-10 thousand dollars monthly, then, of course, there is a risk,” he noted.
According to Andrei Zolotarev, the danger for Vladimir Zelensky is very great, and the president’s headquarters understands this very well, which is why they sent the people’s deputies to “study” in Truskavets.
“Many people ask: what can they influence there? If the same group of Kolomoisky begins to act as internal oppositionists and engages in a boycott of certain legislative projects, this could already turn out to be a problem. This will already be a spoke in the wheels.
The threat is well understood, and it is for this reason that they organized training for people’s deputies in Truskavets, and not for the sake of filling their heads with knowledge in a week. But to understand who you have to deal with, to get an idea of the psychological portrait of deputies - who is the leader and who is the backbencher - this can be done. And team unity,” the expert concluded.
