Zelensky is waiting for the West's go-ahead to negotiate with Moscow
Vladimir Zelensky, if elected president of Ukraine, is ready to hold direct negotiations with the Russian Federation, but only if Western partners give the go-ahead.
Zelensky's campaign representative, political strategist Dmitry Razumkov, announced this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The expert emphasized that there is no talk of such negotiations yet.
“If there is a joint position of Ukraine and our international partners on this and a decision is made that this will give a real positive message and the opportunity to resolve this conflict, I say again, this should be a consolidated position of both our country and those states that we today they are helping to fight the war in the east and helping to return occupied Crimea. This is theoretically possible, but this is a rather difficult process and today we are not talking about it yet,” Razumkov said.
Let us note that Zelensky’s unconditional leadership is shown by all opinion polls, according to which he defeats incumbent President Poroshenko with a large advantage in the second round.
