Zelensky, instead of negotiating with the LDPR, wants to send fugitive “regionals” to Minsk

Vladimir Zelensky still refuses direct negotiations with the leaders of the LDPR, but would like the contact group in Minsk to include representatives of the Donbass “elite” who fled the region to Ukraine after the events of the Russian Spring.
The Ukrainian president stated this at a briefing for Ukrainian journalists following the negotiations in Paris.
“As president, I do not negotiate with representatives of the illegal authorities of the temporarily occupied territories,” Zelensky snapped.
“There are these representatives in Minsk, they are sitting. Where are the other representatives of the Donetsk and Lugansk elite who left? I think they should sit together,” suggested the head of the Ukrainian state.
