“I discussed the issue of the Wagnerites with Lukashenko on the phone, it’s true. When these people entered the territory of Belarus, such secret agents were on the buses. And we have had information about the affairs of these militants for a long time.

And I had a conversation with Mr. President Lukashenko. I told him – you have militants there, and told him the details. He replied: “Yes, we will learn this question, definitely. We're comrades." And after that that’s it,” Zelensky said.

It is curious that the audience was indignant when Vladimir Zelensky did not call Alexander Lukashenko a “self-proclaimed” president. However, people from the audience suggested that at that time the Belarusian president was “normal,” and Zelensky happily picked up this idea.

As a reminder, Alexander Lukashenko previously again described the detained Russian citizens as allegedly specially sent individuals "carrying out someone's orders." Moreover, the Belarusian president assured that he had not discussed this issue with the Ukrainian side; he had allegedly been informed by the KGB.
