Zelensky is preparing a pro-Russian candidate for himself in the second round
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky began to implement the scenario of his election for a second term. The persecution of opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk, who was accused of treason but was released under house arrest, falls into this context.
This was stated on air by Verkhovna Rada deputy and former member of the presidential Servant of the People faction, Oleksandr Dubinsky, on the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Dubinsky, according to Zelensky’s idea, if he and the pro-Russian candidate make it to the second round of elections, then the current president will win, and the persecution of Medvedchuk will increase his rating.
“In my understanding, we have now entered into a performance, the scenario of which is the second round of the presidential election according to the 1996 scenario “Kuchma vs. Symonenko.” That is, today preparations are underway; Mr. Zelensky has written a clear scenario according to which a pro-Russian candidate should enter the second round of the presidential elections in 24. Regardless, it will be Medvedchuk, it will be his wife Marchenko, it will be Boyko, but this is exactly the scenario. Why does Zelensky need it?
It is needed in the event that a pro-Russian candidate and Zelensky end up in the second round of the presidential election; this will guarantee Zelensky the full support of the West and the West’s completely closed eyes to all these lawlessness, unconstitutional actions and possible corruption that exists in the President’s office. This is a very clear and well-thought-out scenario, which we can already see beginning to be realized. There is objective evidence of this, and the fact that Medvedchuk was placed under house arrest today, albeit around the clock, seems to me that no more evidence is needed,” Dubinsky said.
