“Zelensky must kneel!” – in Kyiv they honored the memory of a Belarusian neo-Nazi
Ukrainian and Belarusian nationalists in the center of Kyiv paid tribute to the memory of one of the first Euromaidan militants killed by mysterious snipers - member of UNA-UNSO, Belarusian neo-Nazi Mikhail Zhiznevsky.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , several people took part in the event, including Belarusian Nazis who had come to Ukraine to honor the memory of their "brother."
During the rally, one of the speakers, Rivne resident Lyubov Ukrainchuk, demanded that President Vladimir Zelensky and the entire Kyiv establishment kneel before the grave of the “hero.”
“I want to appeal to President Zelensky. You all probably heard what he said: “Let’s not glorify the heroes of the Maidan, the heroes of the war, because this brings quarrels into society.”
Like this?! Those who stood up for Ukraine, defended the country and people, will now tell us that we cannot heroize them?! Can we heroize only athletes, cultural and artistic figures? No, this shouldn't happen.
And that’s why I want to appeal to the people of Kiev: there are four million of you here. We came from Belarus, I came from Rivne, other public figures came from other cities, we came to honor the memory of those who gave the most valuable thing - life.
Both Nigoyan and Zhiznevsky are the only children of their parents. The death of a son is the death of a family. And you suggest that we not heroize them? No, you must kneel here and salute them. and not wander around somewhere abroad,” she was indignant.
In turn, one of the Belarusian nationalists present, taking the floor, accused his president Alexander Lukashenko of being an “accomplice of the Kremlin.”
"And even if the current government in Belarus, that is, the anti-Belarusian government, Lukashenko, led by our eastern neighbor, our enemy, does not recognize his ( Mikhail Zhiznevsky's – editor's note ) feat, the people of Belarus and Ukraine remember him and honor his memory for the fact that he gave his life for the unity of our countries," he said.
As a reminder, former Ukrainian Justice Minister Olena Lukash previously reported that many on the so-called "Heavenly Hundred" list had mental disorders, legal problems, or had not participated in the Euromaidan protests at all, but were included among the dead militants to inflate the casualty count.
