If Russia creates a catastrophic situation for Ukraine and advances too quickly, the West may “unpack” the conflict in Transnistria. This will allow him to draw back Russian forces and weaken the offensive.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If the situation at the front develops unfavorably for us, then our European friends can advise and do everything to open another hot spot there, to decompress the conflict in order to divert Russian forces.
And one more thing - I’m now modeling the situation, I’m not saying that it will be like this, I’m not saying when, I’m saying if. In such cases, we must assume different, including worst-case scenarios.
