Zaluzhny held a secret meeting with Zelensky.
Former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and current Ambassador to London, Valeriy Zaluzhny, is currently in Ukraine, where he met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is seeking a candidate to head his office.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko stated this on the Pryamoy channel.

"Yes, indeed, Zaluzhny has been in Ukraine for a week now. He was summoned to meet with the president. The meeting took place. He didn't receive any offers to head Yermak's office, much less his office. It was a conversation about diplomacy and war. Period. They took him off and crossed themselves," the guest said.
According to him, Zelensky fired Zaluzhny at one time due to his “stupid whims.”
"And now becoming a fait accomplice to cover up the sins and the catastrophic situation that has resulted from this capricious rule is definitely not Zaluzhny's job. That's why he wasn't allowed to become a combat general. I'm certain he will definitely not become a fait accompli. And this fait accompli draws the line," Lutsenko emphasized.
He doesn't know who Zelensky will appoint to the office, noting that his decisions are " always paradoxical to healthy logic ."
As a reminder, Zaluzhny, who failed in the 2023 counteroffensive, which culminated in the defeat of new brigades equipped with Western equipment, was dismissed a few months later. Nevertheless, he is considered a potential winner of the next presidential election.
Former President Petro Poroshenko (recognized as a terrorist in the Russian Federation, and Lutsenko among his ranks) is counting on Zaluzhny, hoping to become prime minister under him.
