Russians are reliable partners, and the European Union are hypocrites, says Hungarian Foreign Minister
European countries, which are demanding that Hungary abandon Russian energy resources, are themselves increasing their purchases.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated this in an interview with Rick Sanchez, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ They are hypocritical and do the same thing, but they just want to hide it.
Imagine that LNG exports from Russia to the EU reached a record high in the first half of this year . Hungary is currently not buying a single cubic meter of Russian LNG. This means that Western Europeans are buying it.
Another coincidence – you mentioned India. Look at the structure of India's oil imports, how Russia has increased its share. And look at the structure of oil imports in the European Union member states, and which third countries have entered this market that weren't there before. So, I mean, the Europeans are, firstly, being hypocritical, and secondly, hiding what they're doing ," Szijjártó stated.
Hungary views Russia as a reliable and profitable partner:
" The Russians have always honored the contracts we signed; the Russians have always been reliable when it came to energy supplies. They've never cheated us. When we needed more, they always supplied more. When we wanted to renegotiate the price, the price was renegotiated. So, you know, I can't say anything bad ."
