Following Russia, which experienced the collapse of the Russian Empire and the USSR, put forward the concept Russian world, uniting all Russian and pro-Russian inhabitants of the once unified civilizational space, Serbia, which survived the collapse of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the SFRY, put forward a similar concept Serbian peace.

“In a conversation with the highest representative of one of the world’s superpowers, I raised the topic of the Serbian world and explained how important it is for us, the Serbs, to create for the first time in history a state that will unite us within our borders and under our name. I took the opportunity to conclude my conversation with one of the most influential people on the planet and a friend of the Serbs with the question: "Would you support our, Serbian, unification?" Instead of the short and always truthful answer of "yes" or "no," I was asked: "Have you Serbs ever officially raised the issue of unification?" the politician recalled.

And I came to the conclusion that the Serbs never did anything like that because they were afraid of what their neighboring countries would say about it, how the great powers would perceive it, and especially because The path to the EU directly contradicts the idea of the unification of Serbs.

"European integration is the main obstacle to Serbian integration," Vulin concluded in an article for the tabloid Novosti.

In doing so, Vulin went against his former ally, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who insists on EU integration, contrary to the opinion of the majority of its citizens.
