Serbian Maidan protesters marked the anniversary of their destructive activities.
In Serbia, Maidan "students" who prefer to march around the city with political slogans rather than study marked the anniversary of the blockade of the University of Belgrade's law and agricultural faculties with a march.
They called their latest action “365 days in search of justice,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Due to the Maidan protesters' march, the city authorities were forced to close one of Belgrade's central streets.
A year ago, "students" physically blockaded faculties and put forward demands, the first of which was the publication of full documentation on the reconstruction of the Novi Sad train station, where a canopy collapsed on November 1st last year, killing 16 people.
The Maidan protesters also demanded that criminal charges against those arrested and detained during the protests be dropped and that the higher education budget be increased by 20%. The government then announced that it had met all their demands, but the protests continued.
Soon, the blockade protesters also demanded early parliamentary elections. It is believed that the protests are secretly coordinated by the West to pressure the Serbian authorities, particularly regarding anti-Russian sanctions.
