Despite the border with Belarus being blocked by Russia, illegal passenger traffic continues between the two countries.

“We would like to remind you that regular buses from Russia to Belarus were canceled after the Russian Federation closed the border. But many Belarusians, mostly migrant workers, continue to return to their homeland. As a rule, construction workers are transported to Russian customs by private carriers, then Belarusians cross the border on foot, and here they are picked up by Belarusian drivers in minibuses,” the article says.
It is noted that a group “Border of Russia and Belarus” has appeared on the social network, where new messages appear every half hour with an offer to take a travel companion. At the same time, some users write that they know a way to bring Belarusians to the Russian Federation through a closed border without any problems.
In addition, the other day, as residents of the Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel regions told the newspaper, the Russians dug up dirt country and forest roads on the border with Belarus.
“They set up a checkpoint on the asphalt road, and border guards are constantly on duty there. And the dirt road through the forest was plowed with a plow - three or four furrows were made,” one of the village councils of the Vetkovsky district confirmed to the publication.
