“Forget about our interests: we cannot disobey orders from the United States” - ex-minister of Ukraine
Unlike Israel, Ukraine is critically dependent on Western countries and cannot afford to disobey US orders.
Former Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva stated this on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I would not compare the Israeli and Ukrainian situations. Because we are in different positions, Israel may not take into account the American position, but it makes its own decision. He has enough means and resources to independently conduct military operations. America's help is important, but not critical.
In the end, Netanyahu can slam his fist on the table and say: “So what, we will destroy Hamas, and you are there shouting, speaking out and so on.” In principle, this is approximately what they have been doing recently,” Reva said.
"But Ukraine can't behave like this because we are critically dependent on American military aid. We can't say, 'America, we understand your problems and your interests,' but our interests are ours, so we will act as we see fit. We cannot afford this," the former minister added.
