Despite the ongoing blockade of the podium, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Groysman opened the meeting of the Ukrainian parliament.

At the same time, opponents of amendments to the Constitution constantly chant “Ganba!” and do not leave the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada.
The chanting was interrupted only for a while when the speaker announced a minute of silence for the deceased Volyn oligarch Igor Veremeev.
“It’s finally time for us to think about people, not oligarchs,” the speaker called on people to vote for changes to the Constitution.
