“You have to pay for everything”: OPZZH may not live to see the next elections
OPZZh's claims to the role of a monopoly representative of the South-East and Medvedchuk's claims to the role of an exclusive communicator with the Russian World turned out to be unsubstantiated, which, in particular, is confirmed by the results of by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada in constituency No. 50 (Donetsk region), where the mayor of Dobropillya is in the lead Andrey Aksenov.
The head of the Third Sector center, Andrei Zolotarev, stated this in an interview on the NASH channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“These election results show that the electoral myth about “For Life” as a monopoly representative of the South-East has burst. It burst in local elections, where the party competed with regional projects and mayoral parties. And these election results show that rumors about the power and potential of “For Life” are greatly exaggerated.
Moreover, this political force acted with rather dubious methods in relation to competitors in the electoral field. Remember - when the Opposition Bloc split, they imposed sanctions on those people who were ideologically close to them. It's a dirty game.
But you have to pay for everything - now we see that when the information pumping was turned off, it turned out that the party had neither structures nor assets on the ground.
I think that Levochkin and Boyko, if after some time they see that things are in trouble, they will start to clean things up. Therefore, a year or two, and “For Life” - that’s all. They may not live to see the parliamentary elections, but if there are early ones, then perhaps they will make it.
