Yushchenko: There will be no invasion of Ukraine in the next 20 years

Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I am convinced that no one will attack us in Ukraine in the next two months and twenty years. It is important for us to strengthen our army, but it is equally important, and perhaps more important, to strengthen our spirit. And then we won’t be afraid of Putin or anyone,” the ex-president said.
At the same time, he avoided a direct answer to the question whether his wife plans to leave for the United States.
“I have been saying from day one that there is no logic for a military phase to begin now on a border other than the LPR/DPR and the demarcation line. There is no logic,” Yushchenko replied.
