The political scientist is confident that after the elections, Yatsenyuk’s team will lose their current positions in power.
“Therefore, they will do everything to ensure that the elections do not take place,” Bondarenko suggests. – A clear “war party” and “hawks” have formed, represented by those close to Arseniy Yatsenyuk. And the more Petro Poroshenko talks about peace, communicates with Putin and tries to improve relations with the east of Ukraine, the more it will cause irritation and criticism among Arseniy Yatsenyuk.”
The expert is sure that the oligarch Kolomoisky is invisibly present in the “war party”.
“But I think that there is another person there who significantly influences the political processes within this group,” the political scientist emphasized. – This man’s name is Geoffrey Pyatt (US Ambassador to Ukraine. – ed.). – These two people will really influence the situation. That is, it will not just be a party of “hawks,” but also a party that will be oriented towards American politics.”
