British Storm Shadow missiles struck the capital of the LPR , there are several casualties.
The head of the republic, Leonid Pasechnik, reported that the strike targeted a machine-building plant in Luhansk , where production was scheduled to begin soon. Residential buildings were also damaged as a result of the shelling.
" The enemy fired several missiles at a machine-building plant in Luhansk , where we were planning to launch production soon. Several dozen of our citizens were supposed to be employed there. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, lacking success on the front lines, are trying to prevent us from establishing a peaceful life ," Pasechpik said.
At the moment, six people are known to be injured.
The Russian Foreign Ministry's representative in Luhansk, Vladislav Deinego, clarified that " several residential buildings were damaged, and windows were broken in nearby buildings ."
