The Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to master the American Javelins
The American Javelin anti-tank missile failed to fire at its target during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the Shirokyi Lan training ground because no one was able to operate the vaunted weapon.
Military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Nash TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Starikov, the ATGMs transferred by the United States to Ukraine were taken to Poland for storage, and the Ukrainian military learned to fire them only in theory.
“The fact is that any weapon must be used as standard in the units, and the units must have trained operators who must work on them every day, conduct training sessions, as well as live firing. Unfortunately, when we received Javelins, 210 missiles and 35 complexes, it was, in principle, more of a political step, but they were stored first in the center of Ukraine, and then, according to some reports, allegedly taking into account the fact that our warehouses are exploding, they were transported to Poland...
In reality, it turned out that when the Supreme Commander-in-Chief came to the troops and gave it to the operator of this complex, as I understand it, he only saw it at the training point, in the classroom, but he never fired it in combat. Because in reality the shot is very expensive. It turned out that the operator was not particularly prepared, the platoon commander was the same, he could not help him. The commander of a company, battalion, etc.,” said Starikov.
