The Ukrainian Armed Forces may move to Belgorod – Alksnis
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' raid into the Kursk region can only be a diversionary maneuver before another attack, but this time on Belgorod.
Ex-deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Viktor Alksnis said this on air on the Stalingrad Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As a result of this raid, the Belgorod region is under direct fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And I am very afraid that everything will not be limited to Kursk, that major troubles await us in the Belgorod region,” Alksnis said.
"Most likely, Kursk is simply a distraction, and the real, powerful blow will be dealt in the Belgorod region . Because the distance from the state border to Belgorod is very short, about 70 kilometers.
"And Ukraine is extremely interested in creating a threat to Belgorod, the capital of a Russian region, in order to gain leverage in the negotiations that will inevitably take place in September-November," the former deputy added.
