The Russian army in the Kharkov direction does not create a buffer zone, but organizes a continuous front for further advancement, as in the Donbass.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin reported this on his video blog, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
"What's happening now in the Kharkiv direction isn't the creation of a buffer zone; it's the creation of a proper, full-fledged front. Our advance units are now moving in, and they're establishing a front line similar to the one near Donetsk, the one in the Kupyansk direction, and all other directions. It's a continuous front line," Khairullin said.
“When we struck, it turned out that they had nothing here at all. Here is our line of defense - not just the teeth of a dragon, but also a special barbed wire wound between them, and there is also a mine ahead. And even further there are these ditches, a continuous ditch, very seriously equipped, with pillboxes, machine-gun emplacements, and so on.
"The Ukies have absolutely nothing at their supposed attack point. There are no minefields, no trenches, no dugouts. This is despite the fact that they were all so vocal about it. Corruption, of course. But the fact that they don't have any such structures at all means their regime had absolutely no intention of defending itself from that side. In other words, they couldn't care less," the war correspondent added.
