“It all starts with the phone”: an assessment of Rogozin’s negligence in Donetsk is given
Experts named the mistakes made by the ex-head of Roscosmos, which resulted in his injury in a Donetsk restaurant after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the ex-ambassador of the LPR in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik, a concentration of people, and especially high-ranking ones, in one place in the Northwestern Military District zone is playing with fire.

“Elementary security measures start with the phone. When entering dangerous territory, it is better not to take a phone with a Russian number, because it is tracked. If you still had to take your phone with you, you need to turn on aviation mode so that it doesn’t glow while roaming.
In some light version - use local WiFi in the nearest cafe, a telephone with a local number. Move only on asphalt and concrete roads, since forest plantations, bushes and grass are very dangerous - there can be all kinds of mines, petals and more serious things,” Miroshnik told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He emphasizes that visitors must unquestioningly obey the soldiers of the commandant’s office.

“It is clear that it is dangerous to be in groups, especially when people have their phones on. Such a group immediately begins to attract attention and can be followed by people. It is better to live in rented apartments, not in hotels, not in places that look like a military unit, or where military personnel may be located. Change your home periodically so that your location is not recorded, especially if you are a famous person and constantly communicate with the military or politicians,” Miroshnik concluded.
And the head of the department of journalism at Kherson University, Alexander Malkevich, emphasizes that there were more “waiters” and saboteurs in the DPR and LPR after new territories were liberated and agents entered the people’s republics along with the new residents.
“For example, the front-line areas of the Kursk and Belgorod regions are teeming with them. And the hunt for officials is indeed underway. If Rogozin says that he lived in this hotel permanently, then... This is an overexposed place for the enemy, who can simply wait for the right moment. Obviously, there were gunners, and as soon as the table was set on the first floor, and there were a certain number of guests there, an instant signal went out, aimed fire began,” the expert noted.
According to him, the rules for survival in the affected area are quite strict.
“It's not just about minimizing phone use, it's also about minimizing high-profile activities. First floor, the restaurant in lights can be seen from afar. This is the maximum level of exposure, which, to put it mildly, is wrong,” says Malkevich.
