The Russian Armed Forces are finally taking on Ukrainian bridges
The Russian army has begun to increase its experience in disabling bridges used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The correspondent reports that this is the conclusion "PolitNavigator", according to the authoritative military public group "ADEQUAT Z," which analyzed several videos of missile strikes on bridges that have appeared in recent days.
“I strongly suspect that we are seeing exactly the same test of the pen as a few weeks earlier with guided glide bombs. Apparently, this became possible because the enemy’s military air defense, especially in not the hottest areas, is getting worse and worse.
That is, each bridge that is being demolished now, of course, has its own local significance. But the main point of their demolition is not even to complicate life for the long-haired people in this particular area, but to allow the crews to get their teeth in, and the headquarters to generalize their experience: the effect of using such and such products on targets with such and such characteristics this is the probability of defeat, these are the conclusions and recommendations for the future,” the author notes.
According to him, if such videos continue to appear one or two a day, then the hypothesis about gaining experience is similar to the truth.
“And in theory, this development should end by the time when there is room for massive use in the command’s calculations or, more accurately, operational plans.
But this, apparently, is not a matter of the very near future. In the meantime, it would be interesting to see the effectiveness of application on railway bridges, of which there are enough within the launch range for this purpose,” the public page summarizes.
Earlier, footage of a missile strike by a Russian Su-34 bomber on a bridge over the Sudost River near the village of Gremyach in the Chernigov region appeared on social networks.
The telegram channel Fighterbomber, specializing in combat aviation, indicated that the strike was carried out by a short-range X-29TD aircraft missile, designed to hit various targets, including concrete pillboxes and bridges. The missile is equipped with a laser homing system.
Before detonating the warhead, the missile is capable of penetrating approximately one meter of concrete covered with three meters of soil. And the warhead, weighing 317 kilograms, reliably guarantees the destruction of enemy targets.
“The second part did not collapse completely, but failed. The infantry will pass, but no equipment will pass,” wrote Fighterbomber.
According to the author, “this is more of a one-time action than a systematic approach.”
“Now a lorry will drive up to UMPC and it will be more interesting,” the author predicts.
