The war has gone so far that it cannot be stopped in Minsk - military expert
Moscow - Kyiv, February 9 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - The war in Donbass has gone so far that it is developing according to its own laws. Even if it is possible to agree on something in Minsk on February 11, the parties will continue to fight furiously, military experts say. In addition, the United States stubbornly wants war.

Military analyst Lieutenant General Yuriy Netkachev points out that even with the goodwill of both sides, it's technically difficult to implement the Minsk agreements. "François Hollande, speaking on television, stated that the German and French plan for resolving the conflict in southeastern Ukraine calls for an expanded demilitarized zone of 50 to 70 kilometers. But how can such a zone be created when the front is indented, some Ukrainian troops are surrounded, and they refuse to surrender?" the expert asked in an interview with NG.
The expert drew attention to the fact that the Supreme Commander of NATO forces in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, called Vladimir Putin’s proposals to resolve the conflict in Donbass “absolutely unacceptable” (this was reported by Spiegel Online). "I think we shouldn't rule out the possibility of a military option," Breedlove said. At the same time, a number of NATO countries (Poland, Latvia) on Saturday supported the Pentagon’s proposals to provide assistance to Ukraine with lethal weapons.
