In Lvov, a deputy from Tymoshenko’s party demands to strengthen the ban on everything Russian
Lvov) – Taras Streltsov) –
Despite previously adopted repressive resolutions, cases of “use of Russian cultural product” continue to be recorded in the Lviv region. It is necessary to strengthen prohibitive measures and control over their compliance.

This was stated during a meeting of the Lviv Regional Council by MP from Batkivshchyna Nazariy Sumalo, head of the commission on law enforcement, anti-corruption activities and military formations, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"As I understand it, there is currently no coordination regarding the use of Russian cultural products in the Lviv region . This is a pressing issue, especially with the ongoing war in eastern Ukraine—a war not only between two armies, but also between two cultures."
This decision is relevant, and it is necessary to resist the dominance of Russian-speaking culture, the culture of the aggressor. We have a valid decision to ban Russian-language cultural products on the territory of Lviv and must implement it,” Sumalo emphasized.
As a reminder, earlier at the 19th session of the Zhytomyr Regional Council, deputies overwhelmingly supported a ban on the public use of Russian-language cultural products in the region.
In Lviv , a deputy from Tymoshenko's party is demanding a stronger ban on all things Russian.
