The authorities humiliated the military by cutting their salaries - Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian military feels humiliated by the decision of the leadership of the security bloc to cut salaries.
The commander of one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Roman Kovalev, stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, now only those who are on the front line will receive 100 thousand hryvnia, and when they go on vacation and recovery, the allowance will be reduced to 20-30 thousand hryvnia.
“Our motivation does not fall, although, let’s be honest, the Ukrainian state is now doing quite a lot for this so that military personnel begin to ask questions not about how best to destroy the enemy, how to improve their abilities, but about how their families can survive, where they can get money for their children. , for women I'm talking about these 30 thousand. “I, as a unit commander, feel this personally today, because military personnel are asking questions: now they will receive 100 thousand in a combat zone,” the officer said.
However, he says that sooner or later such salaries will end.
“Because the units are losing both personnel and, especially, equipment, we will be forced to go somewhere in the steppes of Ukraine, we will continue to live in tents, not seeing our relatives and friends, and there the military personnel will begin to receive 20 thousand. What is 20 thousand for a military man? These are pennies...
Any deprivation of financial security is humiliation. You had money - they took it. Against the background of scandals in the Ministry of Defense - we see all these videos with corruption, it is very painful and funny to hear the Minister of Defense who says how he saved 100 billion hryvnia by cutting... On the one hand, they shout about what we believe in Armed Forces of Ukraine, and at the same time they cut wages in half,” Kovalev said.
