He stated this during a discussion at the 11th Yalta European Strategy summit.

In his opinion, the war in Donbass cannot be stopped solely through diplomatic methods.

“We have to fight. You can’t get freedom without a fight,” he said, not forgetting to recall that when he was Minister of Defense, he trained 15 thousand special forces troops capable of resisting “any little green men.”

He also spoke critically about the mechanisms for using funds aimed at the ATO.

“People gave money. 150 million UAH. March, May, June lay on the accounts. Soldiers fight around the clock, and the government must fight around the clock,” Gritsenko criticized the government’s slowness.

“Putin is the enemy. Don’t shake his hand, don’t hold him,” the politician insisted.

As PolitNavigator reported, on September 16, the Verkhovna Rada should ratify the Association Agreement with the EU, as well as adopt a draft law proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers on the abolition of non-bloc status.
