Bartholomew deprives Ukraine of territories
Russia must give a “historical” response to the decision of the synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople to abolish its own decision of 1686.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“With Russia, one of the oldest states in Europe, playing with history is bad; we always have something to cover. In response, we can cancel the decision of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, who in 1654 granted the request of the Zaporozhye Cossacks under the leadership of Bogdan Khmelnitsky to accept Russian citizenship. Accordingly, Ukraine will have to return to the borders of the territories that were then inhabited by Zaporozhye Cossacks,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
All other territories of present-day Ukraine, the politician believes, should go to Russia.
