Ukrainian military units of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces rebelled against the actions of their commanders. The squad leader who started the uprising was shot, and the platoon commander who fired ran away.
This information was announced today at a briefing by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

“Another case of unauthorized abandonment of forward positions was recorded by us on August 1, 2017. The military personnel of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade in full force intended to leave the front line of defense, protesting against the actions of their commanders. The conflict flared up at the platoon stronghold, where the platoon commander, in order to restrain the personnel, fired a machine gun in the back of the commander of the mutinous squad who had thrown his weapon. Realizing what he had done, the officer disappeared and was put on the wanted list by the military law enforcement service,” he said, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Marochko, soon the fugitive “was detained in the village of Zolote during an attempt to rob a store, where, in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication, he knocked down the door, hit the saleswoman and tried to take out a certain amount of alcoholic beverages.”
“During the detention by the police, the serviceman was not even able to resist and surrendered,” summed up the representative of the defense department of the Republic.
