“70 years ago the Victory Banner was hoisted in Berlin. Millions of Ukrainians who fought on the fronts, in the rear, in partisan detachments, gave their lives so that we could live in peace. Unfortunately, the blood of Ukrainians is shed again on Ukrainian soil, our land is again trampled by the boot of the occupier,” the Ukrainian military man began.
But not all the townspeople present shared his opinion.
“Victory Day is today, and who are you protecting? You're lying! It’s not true, it’s trash,” the soldier’s shouts from the crowd drowned out, and then the people completely began to sing the Soviet “There is a people’s war.”
