The Ukrainian Armed Forces complain: “We almost never get out of our holes. There are drones above us all the time."
The Russian army's drones have become a formidable weapon and a serious problem for Ukrainian forces.
This was stated by the commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 28th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, introduced as Walid Yu, in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda online publication Ukrayinska Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He agreed with the opinion that Ukraine “has not yet developed an army of drones, but the Russians have.”
“Yes, 100%. A year ago, when we entered these positions, we caught the Wagners, captured them, stormed them, they were not even wearing body armor, they were people in jeans, sneakers and sports jackets with one machine gun and two magazines. And they ran lightly across the field, but they ran very fast because they were light. And now we almost never get out of our holes, because the drones are constantly hanging and making drops,” the officer complains.
The journalist asked whether the sitting tactics in the Ukrainian Armed Forces standards were adopted from the Wagner PMC.
“Wagner adopted this from Syria, this is a method of defense in the desert, that’s where it came from. They learned it there, and we learned from them. We learn something from them, they learn something from us. Yes, it works,” said the platoon commander.
He added that his platoon used about 60 drones in a year.
