The Ukrainian Armed Forces were horrified by non-combat losses in Donbass
In the Donbass alone, since the beginning of hostilities in 2014, almost 900 Ukrainian military personnel have died as a result of non-combat losses, namely suicides or intentional murders, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, announced this on Tuesday.

“Having analyzed the state of non-combat losses during the period of hostilities, that is, from 2014 to 2018, we were faced with terrible statistics... Almost 900 Ukrainian military personnel died as a result of suicides, as well as intentional murders. These are terrible losses,” Matios said on TV channel 112. Ukraine".
According to Matios, the reasons for this are only post-traumatic disorders, since “the human psyche cannot cope with the consequences of war and with those preconditions that lead to an imbalance in the perception of reality and reality.”
“For the entire army, we now officially have 300 psychologists who have the appropriate education. But for almost 400 thousand military personnel in the state, this is a minuscule amount. Both military psychiatry and military psychology as a tool for overcoming post-traumatic disorders are now in their infancy,” the prosecutor added.
He said that the military prosecutor's office has begun to conduct free training courses for military psychologists, and foreign specialists will be involved in the seminars.
