The Ukrainian Armed Forces admitted that Ukraine is losing half of its drones due to unprofessional pilots
Ukrainian drone operators often lack experience and training, according to Ukrainian serviceman, former volunteer, and drone expert Yuriy Kasyanov, speaking on the online blog "Fabrika Novostey," as reported by PolitNavigator.
According to Kasyanov, Russia devotes many times more time to training drone pilots than Ukraine.

"There's some standardization, an understanding of how to use them, there are tactical techniques for using these drones, and there's training. At Lancet, they train specialists, pilots, for 400 hours. But we only have five hours—that's the maximum training period for FPV drones, and then you're ready to fly. That's why half the drones are lost because of inexperienced pilots, because the drones are different, because they're controlled differently . Of these million drones, if we build them by the end of the year, we'll lose half for nothing," Kasyanov stated.
