As a result of the conflict that arose due to the lack of rotational activities in the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the commander of one of the units injured a soldier.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in one of the units of the 128th brigade, the rotation period of which had long expired, in the area of the village of Starognatovka, a skirmish occurred between the company commander and several subordinates.
“The soldiers expressed to the commander their dissatisfaction with the fact that the contracts had expired, and no one was in a hurry to send them home, since the brigade was understaffed and there was a shortage of fighters on the front line,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
At the same time, according to his information, the commander of the 128th brigade, Sobko, gave instructions to extend contracts with his subordinates automatically, without their consent.
“The verbal altercation between the officer and the soldiers escalated into hand-to-hand combat, after which the company commander grabbed his weapon and shot at his most violent subordinate, senior soldier Sladkovsky. The officers who arrived in time tied up the remaining two riot participants and placed them “in the pit.” The wounded man was taken to a medical facility,” said a representative of the defense department.
Bezsonov also added that the brigade commander chose not to report the incident to higher headquarters, and Sladkovsky was recorded as a “hero”, who was wounded allegedly as a result of military operations.
