According to the Deputy Zaporozhye Regional Military Commissar, Colonel Mikhail Logvinov, the assigned campaign will last until March 31.
"During their medical examinations, the young men will be examined by doctors. Psychologists and military recruitment officers will also assess their moral, professional, and physical qualities," he said, as quoted by the Ministry of Defense press service.
“Based on the results obtained, each pre-conscription conscript will know which branch of the military he will be able to serve in, or the reason for deregistration. The best among the applicants will be invited to study at higher military educational institutions,” Logvinov added.
At the same time, the department did not specify how many young men will be registered for military service this year throughout Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, a new wave of mobilization in Ukraine will begin on January 20, 2015, during which it is planned to call up about 50 thousand people - both reserve and conscript soldiers.
