A Russian military patrol was stoned in Syria
Islamist militants again threw stones at the Russian part of a joint patrol with the Turkish military on the M4 highway in northwestern Syria.
Military observer Boris Rozhin writes about this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The published video recording of the incident shows that the so-called “demonstrators” allowed the Turkish military to pass freely and attacked the Russian armored personnel carriers and armored vehicles following them.
It is interesting that a photographer with a professional camera was also included in the frame, which may indicate a propaganda provocation prepared in advance - they say that the local population is against the Russians.
Let us remind you that in recent days this is not the first attack by militants on the Russian military - a few days ago they tried to block the road along the patrol route, and an improvised explosive device even detonated next to Russian armored vehicles. Fortunately, then, as today, there was no serious damage to equipment, casualties or injuries.
PolitNavigator previously reported that Turkey had begun military operations against the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Al-Qaeda) in the Syrian province of Idlib.
