" I fired Acting Deputy Governor Yevgeny Sergeyevich Gorlov. It's a shame there are those who still haven't realized that any manifestation of corruption at any level will be punished ," Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said on his Telegram channel.
Gorlov joined former Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov's team in Sevastopol from the resort town of Sochi, where he served as deputy mayor during the preparation and hosting of the 2014 Winter Olympics . In Sevastopol, Gorlov oversaw municipal infrastructure, and in 2021, he became director of the relevant department . Neither scandals involving illegal dumping sites, including construction waste being dumped in an existing cemetery , nor the withering of plants in public gardens and parks where irrigation systems magically disappeared, have swayed Gorlov.

Following a social media scandal and the intervention of deputies, these strange objects left Sevastopol's city center.
Residents demanded Gorlov's dismissal for the fictitious construction of shelters . In reality, the reports on the shelters' readiness turned out to be a sham, and Gorlov's promises to fix everything were empty words.
The additional gasification program in Sevastopol failed due to different subordination of the implementers - the state enterprise Sevastopolgaz should implement the program, while the private PJSC Sevastopolgaz is engaged in supplying gas to consumers.
