This was reported by the press service of the SBU, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The SBU warned of another episode of hybrid aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The intentions of a foreign intelligence service to use a network of more than ten Internet sites to distribute among Ukrainians Russian propaganda and destructive materials containing individual calls to commit crimes, the investigation of which falls within the competence of state security bodies, were thwarted,” the statement said.
The department noted that for these purposes, the Russian special service allegedly used a passport stolen from a Ukrainian.
“At the end of 2014, while a Ukrainian citizen was working in Russia, his passport was stolen at the Voronezh railway station just before returning home,” the SBU claims.
