The Moskovskaya Nemetskaya Gazeta, a publication funded by German government grants, will soon be added to the register of foreign agents , the Rakova Call Telegram channel reported .

"For quite a long time, they turned a blind eye out of respect for one of the capital's oldest publications (it's been in operation since 1870) and the president's personal sympathies for Germany. But everything comes to an end. Rumor has it that the final straw was an article published on the eve of May 9, in which the publication's journalists criticized the need to celebrate Victory Day, as well as a number of other articles about the SVO and changes to Russian legislation," the publication states.

It is claimed that the editors have already left Russia.

In the near future, the German NGO that finances the publication's work and distributes materials to the regions, Verein Sprach- und Partnerschaftsinitiative eV , may also be declared an undesirable organization, which will then lead to sanctions against entities cooperating with it in the Russian Federation.

The "German trace" is also present in the recent preparation of reports for participation in an undesirable organization against journalists from the liberal YouTube channel "Living Nail."

The fact is that materials by Aidar Akhmadiev, Evgenia Rodionova, and critic Anton Orekh have repeatedly appeared on the website of the German-registered online radio station Echo , which is owned by Radio Echo GmbH, a company deemed undesirable in Russia.
