This was stated by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Sergei Krivonos , on the channel of the former spokesman of the Right Sector, Boryslav Bereza, which is banned in the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Bereza recalled how the previous day, at the request of Ukrainian Ombudsman Lubinets, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that Sergei Kuznetsov, a suspect in the Nord Stream 2 bombing detained in the West, served in military unit A0987 from August 10, 2022 to November 28, 2023, with the rank of captain.
"Those who responded should be held accountable, because any information about Special Operations Forces personnel and their families is classified . And when someone comments, they're directly leaking information and saying they were part of this organization.
And this once again emphasizes that if any of the military personnel of this system is once again sent abroad or behind the front lines to carry out tasks in the interests of the Motherland, he will now think three hundred times whether it is worth doing or not.
" This is an undermining of national security . In my view, this is an unworthy concession that requires criminal prosecution for leaking information," Krivonos fumed.
He clarified how the Ukrainian Armed Forces Special Operations Forces themselves reacted to this story.
"To put it mildly, it's negative. But the literary word 'negative' contains significantly more adjectives that cannot be used on the air ," the Ukrainian general noted.
