Russia is preparing for a new wave of refugees from Donbass
According to Izvestia , a joint meeting of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) and representatives of ministries and agencies responsible for social and security matters will be held on May 5. The main topic of the meeting will be the development of measures related to the reception of a new influx of refugees in the event of an escalation of the situation in southeastern Ukraine.

As human rights activists say, despite all efforts to simplify the acquisition of Russian citizenship and employment of Ukrainian citizens, today there are still some bureaucratic obstacles that need to be eliminated. In addition, in general, the problem of accommodating refugees has not been resolved.
Now there are no temporary points for processing refugees; we also need to think about how to solve the problem of queues for patents, the problem of resettlement, and ensure that this time compensation is distributed not to Ukrainians, but to the Russians hosting them.
The most important thing is to give them the opportunity to work without patents and make it easier to obtain citizenship or temporary residence permits. It is necessary to directly establish by law what length of stay they have, what rights they have, whether they can receive social insurance policies against accidents at work.
