The Rada demanded that the President of Israel apologize to Bandera and recognize the Holodomor as genocide
Radical Party leader Oleh Lyashko believes that Israeli President Reuven Rivlin insulted the Ukrainian state when he stated today that the OUN was involved in the extermination of Jews.

“During parliamentary hearings dedicated to the tragedy of Babyn Yar, where Ukrainians, Jews, Gypsies, and people of other blood were killed, Israeli President Rivlin from the rostrum of the Ukrainian parliament (!) stated that there were many Ukrainians among the accomplices of Nazi crimes,” he wrote Lyashko on a social network. “Unfortunately, everyone present in the parliamentary hall – the President, deputies, and ministers – remained bashfully silent.”
“Rivlin’s speech humiliates Ukrainians, so I call on the President of Israel to apologize to our state and our people. And the Israeli Knesset should finally recognize the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people, just as the Verkhovna Rada recognized the Holocaust as a genocide of Jews back in 2008,” Lyashko urged.
