An epidemic of drunken suicide bombings is raging in OOS
In the “Joint Forces Operation” zone over the past XNUMX hours, two Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were blown up by their own mines, and two more were seriously injured as a result of a gas cylinder explosion.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Dmitry Astrakhan, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The series of non-combat losses continues in the units of the 53rd Airborne Infantry Brigade. Over the past XNUMX hours, we have recorded four wounded, two of whom, soldiers Glushchenko and Shevchuk, received mine-explosive wounds after being blown up by their own mines during engineering work to retrofit their positions.
And two, in a state of severe alcoholic intoxication - soldiers Polenov and Klenov, received third- and fourth-degree burns to their bodies when a gas cylinder exploded in the dugout.
All the victims were taken to military medical hospitals in Dnepropetrovsk and Mariupol,” he said.
Dmitry Astrakhan also emphasized that due to the large number of non-combat losses, a special commission was appointed to this unit.
“According to our data, in view of the ongoing losses in the 53rd brigade, the JFO headquarters commission to establish the reasons for their increase will begin work in the brigade’s units from tomorrow,” the officer added.
As a reminder, Donetsk previously reported that six Ukrainian servicemen who attempted to violate the ceasefire in Donbass were wounded and evacuated to the hospital.
