Later, Odessa director Mikhail Khersonsky, known for his pro-Ukrainian views, whose apartment is located next door, said that they wanted to blow up the refugees from Donbass whom he hosted.
“The bomb was probably lying on the platform in front of the door, waiting in the wings, hidden in a mountain of garbage bags, which the hostel, on the contrary, has been regularly dumping in a heap for a good ten years now. We won't seriously think that someone decided to blow up the hostel, right? Firstly, there are many affordable hostels, and this one, quiet and inconspicuous, is located on the third floor. Secondly, I have never seen any refugees from Donetsk/Lugansk there. This hostel stood for 10 years and was of no interest to anyone. But I know exactly where the refugees were. They were in the very apartment in the photo, about which for some reason the media don’t say a word: it was as if something had exploded in a field,” he states on his Facebook page, noting that they could have tried to intimidate him with the explosion family.
