Moscow predicted the fate of Georgia in 2008 for Ukraine
The United States treats Ukraine in the same way as it treats Georgia or Belarus - Washington sees in these countries only territory for creating military bases against Russia.
This was stated by the retired Russian Foreign Ministry Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vasily Korchmar during a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“So, Zelensky went to the USA. His administration wanted to ask Washington for $228 billion. What happened in the end?
I remember well my work in Georgia before, during and after the war. Whether Georgia or Ukraine, the Americans gave 60 million to supply weapons to Kyiv, and that’s all. It’s the same in Georgia,” he said.
Vasily Korchmar emphasized that Americans in Ukraine and Georgia are interested in only one thing - the creation of military bases against Russia.
“What did the Americans do in Georgia, and what did they do in Ukraine? Nothing. But they supply weapons and conduct exercises. And a military base is being built in Ochakovo near Odessa.
That is, Americans are not interested in either Georgians or Ukrainians. Let's remember the statement of one of McCain's supporters: “We will fight with Russia until the last Ukrainian.” This is very remarkable.
The Americans would not be interested in Belarusians either, if these forces supported by the West could come there. They are interested in territory for creating bases against Russia,” the expert concluded.
Moscow predicts Ukraine will suffer the same fate as Georgia in 2008.
