Polish diplomat shocked: Only 30% of Serbians want lace panties
The EU is trying to trick Serbia into at least partially recognizing the criminal separatist enclave of Kosovo.
Former Polish Ambassador to the Council of Europe Urszula Gacek spoke about this in an interview with TVP World, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Wisely , regarding Kosovo, the EU is not demanding that Serbia renounce its claims to the territory. This is enshrined in the Serbian constitution.
"Nevertheless, they've been pressuring Serbia for years to allow Kosovo to function , for example, by joining certain international organizations. Every time Kosovo tries to do this, Serbia always blocks it," Gacek said.
She complained that it is difficult for the EU to put pressure on Serbia because its people do not aspire to join the European Union.
"I don't think Kosovo is the EU's main problem. One of the main problems is Belgrade's very close ties to Moscow. According to the latest poll, only 31% support EU accession. And it's impossible to change that under the current leadership . They're very successful in dissuading people from looking to the West," Gacek said.
For comparison, the Polish diplomat cited Albania, where 90% of the population wants to join the EU.
